ACTIVE Cardioband

Annular ReduCtion for Transcatheter Treatment of Insufficient Mitral ValvE (ACTIVE) is a prospective, multicenter, randomized, controlled pivotal trial to assess transcatheter mitral valve repair with Edwards Cardioband System and guideline directed medical therapy (GDMT) compared to GDMT alone in patients with functional mitral regurgitation (FMR) and heart failure.

The purpose of the ACTIVE Cardioband Trial is to establish the safety and effectiveness of the Edwards Cardioband System in patients with functional mitral regurgitation (FMR).

Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement with the Medtronic Intrepid™ TMVR System in patients with severe symptomatic mitral regurgitation – APOLLO Trial

This is a multi-center, global, prospective, randomized, interventional, pre-market trial with two subject groups: the randomized group will be randomized on 1:1 basis to either the study device or to conventional mitral valve surgery
